Real Madrid approached us with a brief to produce a compelling and exciting video to announce a new player signing. The idea pitched initially was for the piece to be a phone lockscreen, a POV of the player who's been signed receiving a barrage of notifications as the news has just broken of his signing.

The idea pitched initially was for the piece to be a phone lockscreen, a POV of the player who's been signed receiving a barrage of notifications as the news has just broken of his signing.
This was later revisited to add an extra layer of spice. The idea of placing the phone in the Bernabeu stadium itself was thought up. By using a photo of the inside of the stadium and projecting it around the scene, coupled with procedurally generated camera flashes and powerful audio, the final result is exhilarating.
