The goal was to craft a story from a standard selection of footage to show people playing cricket as usual, then being taken aback by the arrival of the tour in the form of this enormous trophy, taking over the theme of the nation.

Once the edit was locked down, a few select shots were chosen for the VFX of the trophy. Having the environment react to the trophy was key to help sell the shots, so smoke and water stock footage elements were used to mimic these simulated effects.
