


The goal was to create something that echoed the sleek clean and beautiful aesthetic of the game. The wipe was approved immediately without any revisions. I simply took the chevron shape from the old wipe and brought it into Blender, creating a procedural grid, that would scale when in close proximity to a controller. Animating the HDRI covered the lighting aspect, and then it was a case of dialing in the metallic car paint material.
